The Lady Red Smashers’ project director Ryu Policarpio and Red Lions team manager Jude Roque on Friday presented the squad with a P100,000 reward for their historic title.
The incentive from San Beda was raised from the school’s Season Pass agenda—a ticketing system that gives alumni numerous access for several sporting events that house the Mendiola-based squads.
Policarpio sent his regards to the school’s supporters who made the reward possible with the Season Pass.

“Together, we reached our goal of ₱2,000,000 in support of our San Beda Red Lions. As promised, a portion of the proceeds is being donated to another sports program in need, reinforcing our commitment to supporting not just basketball but the entire San Beda athletics community,” said Policarpio.
Isabella Pollentes, the Season 100 women’s badminton MVP, gave her heartfelt gratitude to the school for a “fulfilling” support to the women’s team.
“Being part of this team is a huge responsibility, but it’s also incredibly fulfilling,” shared Pollentes, who is set to graduate.
“Winning the NCAA title was the culmination of years of sacrifices, adjustments, and perseverance. I cried, the whole team cried, because that was our motivation all these years. That’s what Coach Rocky [Magnaye] told me—that only inner fire can bring us here,” she added.
